Mr. Macaulay Agbada Ofurhie
Mr Ofurhie was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on 14 December 2009 as a nominee of Shebah. He graduated with a Geology degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Mr Ofurhie worked in the oil and gas industry for over three decades. He retired after 34 years of an extensive career at NNPC and the DPR where he served in various executive positions. Chief Ofurhie was the managing director of NPDC and NGC, both subsidiaries of NNPC. Prior to his retirement, he held the position of director at the DPR.
Dr. A.B.C. Orjiako
Dr. Orjiako, an Orthopaedic and trauma surgeon. He is a private businessman with interests in both the upstream and downstream sectors of the Oil Industry, Shipping, Banking Insurance and Pharmaceuticals. He is currently the Chairman/CEO of a number of companies including the Ordrec Group, Zebbra Energy Ltd and Abbeycourt Companies. He is a Board Member of the Nigeria Chamber of Shipping. He sits on the board of a Norwegian Company; Green Resources ASA with huge interest in Tree Farms in East Africa. In recognition for his numerous philanthropic endeavours.
Dr. Orjiako has received many notable honors and awards; The First Distinguished Alumnus Award of the University of Calabar with D.Sc. (Honoris Causa); Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International; Distinguished Alumnus Award of the College of Medical Sciences, University of Calabar (2005); Platinum Award of the West African College of Surgeons in Research and Training amongst others.
He is happily married with four children.
Mr. Ikemefuna Okafor

Mr Okafor has over 23 years of oilfield exploration and production experience in a variety of technical, operational and management roles. He started his career with Schlumberger as a Formation Evaluation Logging Engineer in Angola, moving on to become a Managing Director for Dowell Schlumberger Nigeria Limited. He was also the Manager for Sand Management West Africa down to Angola in same period. He left Schlumberger and formed his own oilfield service company which he ran as the CEO, until he joined Shebah Exploration and Production Company Limited in October 2013.
Mr Okafor has an Electronic Engineering degree from University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Chief George Opara
A Petroleum geoscientist by training, member of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society and a fellow of both the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists and the Geological Society of Africa. He retired as a Chief Geophysicist and Project manager for Mobil Exploration in various African countries.
Chief Opara has been a consultant to many indigenous and multinational companies in Nigeria and one of the pioneers in bringing in indigenous exploration and production company (Atlas Petroleum) to production.
Chief Kunle Oluwasanmi
A graduate of Law from the University of Ife. He thereafter attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to Bar in June 1968. He joined the then Department of Customs Exercise in 1968 and rose to the position of Controller of Customs before retiring voluntarily in 1987. Prior to his retirement, he represented the Nigerian Customs in various International meetings and seminars. He and his partner established the law firm of Ibironke, Oluwasanmi & Co after his retirement in 1987.
Chief Kunle Oluwasanmi was appointed the Chairman of the Board of the News Agency of Nigeria by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 1991. He was also appointed a member of Mbanefo Committee on Local Government and State Creation. In 1997, he was appointed a Federal Minister of State, Power & Steel.
Chief Oluwasanmi is a director of Benhoff Nigeria Ltd, Kinley Securities Ltd and Wise Health Services Ltd.
Mr. Ernest Ebi, MFR, FCA
Mr. Ernest Ebi attended Howard University, Washington DC, where he graduated with a B.Sc. in Business Administration in 1978 and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the same institution in 1979. He worked in various departments of International Merchant bank in Lagos between 1981 & 1993. In 1993, he was appointed by the CBN/NDIC as Executive Director, Corporate Banking of African Continental Bank Plc, Lagos; a position he occupied until 1995, when he became the Managing Director/ CEO of New Nigeria Bank Plc. In January 1998, he was appointed the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Diamond Bank Plc and between 1999 and 2009, he served as the Deputy Governor, Policy and Corporate Services at the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Mr. Ernest Ebi has participated in several Management Development courses both locally and overseas in the areas of Strategic Planning, Financial and Risk Management amongst others.
Mr. Ernest Ebi is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and holds the national awards MFR. He is happily married with children and sits on the board of several companies.
Dr. S.A Okolo
A Petroleum Explorationist by training, specializing in Sedimentology. He worked for Texaco Overseas Petroleum Company for 11 years mostly in Nigeria but also in US and London. He also worked for Pan Ocean Oil Corporation for 20 years, firstly as the Group General Manager (Exploration) and finally as the Group General Manager before retiring to work for Zebbra Energy Limited as the Managing Director.
Mr. Fausta Alakwe
He is an Alumnus of JMW Europe’s Leaders of the University of Boston. A 1992 Electronic Engineering graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he holds higher diploma qualifications in Petroleum Engineering and Project Management. A pioneer staff of SEPCOL, he has at various times worked at Abbeycourt Energy Services Ltd, Schlumberger Nigeria Limited and Berwick Nigeria Limited. He is a member of the IEEEC, SPE and IPM.
